Movement Strategies has supported the development of the crowded places guidance

We have recently supported the redrafting of the Crowded Places guidance, the objective of which is to maximise survivability of the public during evacuation and invacuation scenarios. This guidance is applicable to retail centres, theatres, stadia and other crowded places in the UK.

We have also been working on a programme of research which aims to inform guidance to tenants and owners of office buildings, to increase the survivability of staff and visitors in the light of the developing terrorism threat.
